Every part of this family home was designed with the client in mind. 7 En-suite Bedrooms, Swimming Pool and Media Rooms were included within a highly insulated modern home. The design of the roof means that there is no ‘wasted’ attic space – the full envelope volume is used. The zinc roof on this home was short-listed for a European award.

‘LINDEN’  Modernising a 1950’s classic

Project: Modernising a ClassicProject: Linden Hall Project: Linden KitchenLinden Snow pic

In 1950 this house featured in a design magazine as a ‘modern’ family home with all mod-cons. In 2005 however, the new owners demanded more space, better insulation and a low-carbon footprint.  This was achieved thorugh insulating the walls and floor, dry-lining north facing walls, adding additional insulation in the roof and replacing the windows. Installing renewables such as solar-panels on the south-facing roof, transformed this house into a modern home for the 21st century.
